Life Begins
La vie commence · dir. Émile Proulx-Cloutier
Canada 2009, 13’
Teenage brothers Joseph and Mathieu rarely interact, but when their suburban home is broken into, a sequence of actions is set in motion and puts their family’s fabric to the test. Examining the profound bond between brothers, Life Begins portrays an affecting drama that unfolds with subtle and confident precision.
